KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance, achieving store KPIs, and delivering commercial objectives across the Megastore.
- Help create a positive, high-energy retail environment focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and maximising sales opportunities.
- Monitor store performance, analyse results, and support the implementation of strategies to improve sales, customer engagement, and productivity.
- Drive and maximise opportunities for makeup services, appointments, events, and promotional activities.
- Lead by example to ensure consistently high standards of customer service, resolving customer queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Support customer retention and loyalty initiatives through effective use of CRM systems, customer engagement activities, and brand events.
- Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners while maintaining clear and effective communication.
- Assist in leading, motivating, and developing the store team, fostering a positive and inclusive working environment where colleagues feel valued and supported.
- Recognise and celebrate individual and team successes while encouraging accountability and ownership of results.
- Support effective workforce planning through strong organisation, prioritisation, delegation, and follow-up.
- Conduct regular coaching and development sessions to enhance product knowledge, artistry skills, customer service standards, and commercial performance.
- Support performance management processes, including objective setting, feedback, and staff reviews in line with company guidelines.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, creativity, and open communication.
- Support the day-to-day operational management of the store, including cash handling procedures, stock control, loss prevention, and security compliance.
- Assist with inventory management, stock counts, and ensuring accurate stock control processes are maintained.
- Ensure visual merchandising, store presentation, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained in line with BPerfect brand guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements while supporting the Store Manager in maintaining operational excellence across the Megastore.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience leading or supervising a team within a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and support team performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in delivering clear direction and cascading key business information.
- Passion for the beauty industry, with a strong awareness of current trends, products, and customer expectations.
- Proven ability to build relationships within the local community and support the planning and execution of both internal and external brand events.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of driving sales, customer engagement, and store performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic retail environment while maintaining high operational standards.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a retail sales environment, with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving performance.
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- 2–3 years' experience delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced retail setting.
- Previous experience in retail management or assistant management is highly desirable.
- Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams to achieve business objectives and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
