ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Retail Makeup Artist/Retail Assistant to join our team at Belfast International Airport. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic beauty professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will play a key role in driving sales, promoting BPerfect products and services, and creating lasting relationships with customers while supporting the wider store team.
THE INDIVIDUAL:
We are seeking motivated team players with strong selling skills, excellent communication abilities, and the confidence to work effectively under pressure. As a key member of the store team, you will play an important role in driving sales, promoting BPerfect products and services, and building lasting relationships with customers through outstanding service and expert product knowledge.
To succeed in this role, you will be a customer-focused Makeup Artist with a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for beauty. You will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining high standards across all aspects of the customer journey. Due to the nature of the airport retail environment, a high level of flexibility is essential, including availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets by using key selling skills.
- Confidently promote the BPerfect Cosmetics brand, products and makeup application services to provide an unforgettable customer experience and encourage customer loyalty.
- Create and develop a bond with our customers by providing exemplary service.
- Drive both Makeup-Up and Skincare appointments with a goal of booking targets.
- Help upskill retail assistant colleagues on artistry basics/skillset.
- follow company guidelines to merchandise the store and maintain high standards, taking pride in your environment and personal presentation.
- operating the payment system and handling financial transactions.
- support by complying with all store policies and procedures, to keep the wider team and customers safe.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–4 years' experience in Makeup Artistry.
- Knowledge of cosmetics, beauty trends, and skincare products.
- Familiarity with the BPerfect Cosmetics brand.
- Previous retail or sales experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
