ROLE TITLE: Retail Makeup Artist
LOCATION: Rushmere, Craigavon
JOB TYPE: Full Time or Part Time
SALARY: £8.20 - £13 per hour, with additional sales commission

ROLE OVERVIEW:
This role is ideal for a passionate beauty professional with strong selling skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-first mindset. You will be responsible for promoting the BPerfect brand, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales through your product knowledge and artistry expertise.

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can work towards store targets, contribute to the store’s success, and thrive in a busy retail environment. A positive, can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and additional hours when required are essential.

THE INDIVIDUAL:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated team player with strong selling and communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, enthusiastic about beauty, and able to work confidently under pressure while delivering exceptional service. A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential. Please note that flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets through effective selling techniques and product recommendations.
  • Actively promote the BPerfect Cosmetics brand, products, and makeup services, delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by providing outstanding service and expert beauty advice.
  • Drive bookings for both Makeup and Skincare appointments, working towards established booking targets.
  • Support the development of Retail Assistants by sharing artistry knowledge and assisting with skill enhancement.
  • Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards in line with company guidelines, ensuring the store is always presented to the highest standard.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's payment systems.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards, supporting the wider team in maintaining a safe and compliant retail environment.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Makeup Artistry.
  • Strong knowledge of cosmetics, beauty products, and current industry trends.
  • Familiarity with the BPerfect Cosmetics brand and product range.
  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment with a proven ability to drive results.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
