‘The Fashion Chair’ reviews BPerfect 10 Second Tan

28/06/2016
Hi everyone, Hope you are having a good week so far. I had a few friends down to visit and I caught up with the lovely Jenny from Jen’s Style Sanctuary yesterday after work. Today’s post is a product review! I was sent the B Perfect tan to try out and with the bottle nearly gone I think it is a sign that I have loved it! As always I will give my honest opinion on how it has worked for me, include (untouched) images so you can see the exact colour and hopefully it will be a new one for you all to try! Firstly it is unlike any tan that I normally would use as it is a spray, I tend to opt for a mousse formula but it was just as easy to apply. The only thing I will say is that you should stand on a towel when spraying it as I made this mistake and ruined my carpet … sorry mum! I loved the smell of the tan, very coco-nutty (is that even a word?!) and it feels nice and fresh on the skin. I like to almost change race when it comes to tan and I applied 2 layers to achieve the desired colour although one layer would be perfect for anyone who likes a tan but nothing OTT. As Ronseal says “It does exactly as it says on the tin” and dries really quickly – there’s nothing worse than a tan that takes a lifetime to dry and you are left parading around in the nip waiting patiently! The B Perfect tan is instant so if you are like me and want to have a colour straight away i.e no patience for developing tans, then this one is a good option. The only thing I will mention is to purchase an exfoliating scrub to remove it if you don’t want the colour to last longer than a week but at the same time this is also a good thing if you want a tan that is long lasting. Normally I would apply a moisturiser before my tan, especially if it is a mousse formula as it can be quite drying but I didn’t with this one as it is a liquid. I found that it sat better on my skin when I applied it straight after my shower. I don’t wash the tan off the next day, I then apply the moisturiser to give an extra glow and to keep it topped up/fresh looking and this has worked for me. At £25 it is above what I would normally pay for an instant tan but now that I have tried it and almost finished the bottle, I would re-purchase. The mitt is included for application and it is a very velvety fabric which aids in giving you an overall even, streak free colour. You can purchase the 10 second tan HERE. I hope you have enjoyed reading this review and if you try it

BPerfect Semi Permanent Eyebrow Kit reviewed by Irish Beauty Blogger ‘The Insider Daily’

15/06/2016
Review | BPerfect Semi-Permanent Brows* Since my obsession with achieving perfect brows began, I’ve been adding more & more brow products to my every-day makeup routine. Someday’s I’ll use a gel, cream and powder product together to fill in my brows and it’s starting to become very time-consuming – #FirstWorldProblems I know! The beauty market has become a little saturated with brow products at the moment, but I think the key is actually to use as few products as possible. Using a mixture of powders, pencils, gels and waxes is just going to over-complicate things, and ain’t nobody got time for that, surely? I’d spotted BPerfect’s Semi-Permanent Brows, a kit that includes a powder with the lasting-power of a gel/cream, a double-ended brow brush and three stencils and decided to put the all-in-one kit to the test. BPerfect has four shades available in their Semi-Permanent Brow Kits, I’ve been using the shade ‘Irid Brown’ and I’ve found it to be a perfect medium-brown shade for filling in my brows. When I’m filling in my brows, half of the battle is struggling to find a good eyebrow brush.  The small, angled eyebrow brush included in the BPerfect brow kit is ideal for the job! Next, the actual brow product – a medium-dark brow powder that’s water resistant and smudge proof.  In my opinion, powder brow products are always the easiest to master and I’d definitely recommend them for beginners! Coming in at €34, it’s slightly on the pricey end but I’ve always found that in the long-haul powder products last much longer than other types. I apply the brow powder using the small angled brush with short light strokes to fill in both my brows evenly. Eyebrow shaping is a tricky technique to master but filling in your brows doesn’t get much easier than with eyebrow stencils. BPerfect’s brow kit includes three stencils for three completely different looks – thin, natural and thick. These brow stencils allow you to trace the product onto your brows much more easily than trying to shape them on your own – ending up with brows that look more like distant cousins than sisters. It’s been a little while since I’ve loved a powder brow product but BPerfect’s Semi Permanent brows has become a new favorite of mine. Since I started using the BPerfect brow kit to fill in my brows, I have to admit that they look way less harsh than my usual look – a very soft and natural finish! Another ‘Glowing’ Review of BPerfect 10 Second Tan

09/06/2016
WEDNESDAY, 11 MAY 2016 Bperfect Fake Tan Review – The Miracle 10 SECOND TAN! I will hold my hands up to admit that in the last year, I have become a fake tan addict. I went through a stage of getting constant professional Fake Bake fake tans, spending a fortune because 1. I’m lazy 2. I thought I’d be rubbish at tanning myself – it seemed like a LOT of effort, and 3. I was so scared of fake tan disasters with patchy and streaky tan all over the place. However, in recent months, I’ve been experimenting with a couple of different tans and exploring the market. Usually with fake tans, the ones that you put on for it to develop overnight are the long lasting ones, meaning that putting them on in the first place can lead to some dodgy tanning disasters as you can’t always properly see where it’s going, and if you’ve missed a bit. Whilst on the other hand, I find the instant wash on wash off tans pointless. I get that people use them for a one off night out but to me it’ just a faff to mess around spending ages putting on a tan for it to wash off in the shower the next day, is that just me?! Anyway, after falling in love with the Bperect brow powder last year when I visited their stand at Olympia Beauty, I was intrigued by their ’10 second tan’. I’m never one to believe the claims of a bottle and clever marketing so I had to try it out for myself. Now, this product is definitely not like any other, it’s the perfect synergy of both types of tan mentioned above, taking the ‘pros’ of both, and combining them to make, in my opinion, a miracle product The Bperect tan does what it says on the tin, it develops in 10 seconds so you can see exactly where it’s going and where you have/haven’t missed a spot meaning you always have a beautiful and flawless finish. However, unlike other instant tan, it’s extremely long lasting which is something that really took me by surprise. I applied the tan SEVEN days a go and I still have a bit of colour! Where it has faded, it has done so naturally and evenly which is always a major plus point for me. Two other massive benefits of this product are that it doesn’t at all smell like fake tan, it has a gorgeous coconut scent, and it doesn’t dry out my already dry skin – something that I find very annoying about fake tans. All in all, to say I’m impressed would be an understatement. Writing this, I’m currently on my way to Munich to run an event and of course the tan is in my suitcase. Being so instant and easy to use, I know I can top it up with minutes to spare. This weekend I had 15 minutes to get ready for a night
